DESCRIPTION:
Two story 4-Square/Prairie. Red brick. Green metal tile roof; low hip roof; deep overhang; roof line repreated on two story recessed wing on left, front porch and prte cochere on right. Planters top porch piers. Intricate leaded ad beveled glass transoms over main windows and double entry doors. Open raised terrace at entry proch.
OF INTEREST: Tom Newsome, a rancher, built this ten-room residence for $16,000 in 1914. Four years later he sold it to Mentor B. Terrell, founder of the nationally known Terrell School for Boys.
