DESCRIPTION:
Two story Prairie restyled from Victorian. Stucco, composition roof. Steep hip roof w/deep flat overhang. Full width covered porch wraps to right. Solid tapering piers w/brackets. Covered porch on second floor in central portion of house; double front gabled roof w/shuttered opening; double doors open to porch; wood rail.
OF INTEREST: The original residence, which was built for furniture store owner M.P. Hawthorne, was torn down. The lot now holds a house that was built in 1894 and moved from lower Swiss Avenue in 1977.
