The
original house was built on a double lot and was purchased
by C.C. Weischel for $20,000. Mr. Weischel was Chairman
of the Board of the Dallas National Bank. He willed his
house to the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, which not being
able to use it for offices, had it torn down for tax reasons.
A new Georgian style house was built on the corner portion
of the lot in 1987.
