OF INTEREST: Wesley Mason was the owner of Mason Engraving Company. After World War I, his wife played a prominent role in Dallas' musical history by sponsoring tours of famous European musicians throughout the United States. Her connections brought to Dallas musicians such as Sergio Rachmaninoff, who performed in the Mason's music room. In 1983, this house was moved to its current site from its original location outside the Swiss Avenue Historic District.
