OF
INTEREST:
Robert Foat was among the first to buy and build in
Munger Place. His home, which was built for $15,000,
was the first house on the block between Munger
Boulevard and Collett Avenue. Originally 899 Swiss
Boulevard, it became 5017 Swiss Avenue in 1910. On
January 18, 1975, a fire of undetermined origin destroyed
part of the house.
