OF INTEREST: The original Progressive style house which stood on this lot was built in 1914 but partially destroyed by fire in 1926. Clarence Miller, owner of Texas Textile Mills, hired architects Lang and Witchell to rebuild the family home with the now popular English influence and incorporating much of the remaining structure..
