DESCRIPTION:
Two story Mediterranean villa. Stucco. Slate roof; hip roof; three dormers w/arched roofs and shuttered openings. Central pavilion w/recessed entry portico; iron grill (also on first floor windows); Doric columns; iron railing above portico. Arches w/bas relief above first floor windows. Full width raised open terrace w/balustrade and urns. Recessed two story wings on either side. House is on a corner lot so porte cochere is in the rear.
OF INTEREST: This home was built for $20,000 for department store owner Sam Dysterbach, who pleaded with his architect to keep the cost low.
