DESCRIPTION:
Two story 4-Square/Prairie. Red English bond brick. Composition roof. Gable roof w/low shed roof dormer; twin front gables. Entry portico w/brick piers, Doric columns and flat roof. Stone lintels w/keystones on main floor windows. Shutters on second floor windows. One story porch on left w/Doric columns.
OF INTEREST: The second owner of this home, Dr. Mary Grace Wilhite, authored "Prize Recipes From Dallasê Historic Swiss Avenue," which is in the Library of Congress. Dr. Wilhite was instrumental in rebuilding the Swiss Avenue gates at Fitzhugh Avenue.
