YEAR BUILT: 1929
ARCHITECT/BUILDER: Bertram Hill

ORIGINAL
DESCRIPTION:
This home is designed in the Georgian Mode. The simple lines of the facade are accented by a projecting central pavillion with corners of dressed stone. The prominent modillions, interlocking tracery in the arched windows, and roof banisters over the center pavillion reveal great care taken in the design of the facade. The arched door and sidelight have large insets of leaded earthstone stained glass.
OF INTEREST: J. Lanham and Ann Higginbotham were married in this home where Mr. Lanham grew up. The couple now reside across the street at 5822 Swiss Avenue.
